Sinocrassula yunnanensis cristata is a crested form of a succulent plant. The classic form is native to China (Yunnan), where it grows at altitudes of around 2 500 - 2 700 m above sea level.
The leaves of Sinocrassula yunnanensis cristata are blue-green with purple highlights and darken to black in full sun. They are small and grow close together on fan-shaped shoots. The plant forms lateral rhizomes and is rather ground-hugging.
Sinocrassula flowers appear in clusters on distinctly flat and tall stems. The buds grow densely clustered and follow the shape of the ridges. The flowers are small and white.
