A sunny habitat is ideal for the plant.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. In winter, limit watering.

It can tolerate -6.7 °C in the short term. However, the plant is not hardy.

TIP for you:

The plant looks great when transplanted into a pot. For example, it fits in with Sedum nussbaumerianum, which shines with its yellow colour. From spring to autumn, they can beautifully decorate outdoor spaces together.

This succulent plant, formerly sold as Pachyveria pachytoides, bears the name 'blue mist', referring to the characteristic colouring of the leaves. It is an intergeneric hybrid, probably a cross between Sedum craigii and Echeveria affinis.

The leaves, usually blue or purple, turn even more purple in intense sunlight. They are strongly fleshy and slightly leathery. The stem is quite strong and the rosettes can reach up to 8 cm in diameter.

In addition to its attractive foliage, Sedeveria Blue Mist can also impress with its beautiful flowers. These appear in summer on upright, much branched stems that grow up to 15 cm tall. The bell-shaped flowers turn orange, pink or beige.

This succulent plant is ideal for the dish, where it will stand out beautifully alongside other succulents such as Sedum nussbaumerianum with its contrasting yellow leaves. From spring to autumn it can also decorate outdoor spaces. Sedeveria Blue Mist is strong and robust, yet small and compact, making it suitable for smaller spaces. Its resistance to direct sun makes it an ideal choice for growing in sunny locations.
