TIP for you:

This plant is one of the smallest succulents we have in our shop.

Known for its low stature and inconspicuous nature, Monanthes polyphylla subsp. polyphylla is an ideal choice for growers who don't have much space at home. What's more, these very small plants will surprise you with their decorative and unpretentious nature.

Their delicate petals are miniature, dark green, and can take on a beautiful pinkish hue in summer. They form dense rosettes, growing close together, about 2 cm in size. The short stems are almost invisible, contributing to the formation of large, low-profile, semi-flexed clumps.

This plant surprises not only with its bizarre leaves but also with its unusual flowers, which resemble a small sunflower or a miniature strawflower. The flowers emerge from the growth centres on long, thin stalks and are incredibly numerous. After flowering, I recommend removing any remnants so as not to spoil the overall aesthetic impression.

These plants respond spontaneously to watering by increasing in volume. Their decorative charm is best displayed as undergrowth in planted pots, where their low profile and impressive appearance become a striking element of the overall impression.
