TIP for you:

The beauty of the plant does not stop with its appearance, but also with the pleasant feel of its leaves.

Kalanchoe millotii, is also known as Millot Kalanchoe, in honour of the French botanist Miloth. It is native to central and southern Madagascar, where it grows in dry forests and xerophytic bush.

It is characterised by its beautiful grey-green leaves, which often turn almost white in full sun. This unique colour is due to the dense fine hairs covering the surface of the leaves. The leaves of Kalanchoe millotii are soft to the touch, 3-6 cm long and have serrated edges. It grows as a shrub with upright, woody stems. In nature it can reach a height of up to 1 metre, but in domestic conditions it usually grows to about 20 cm. The plant branches sparsely, but this process can be accelerated by occasionally pruning the tops.

Kalanchoe millotii flowers relatively infrequently, and tends to be an older plant. The flowers are small and inconspicuous.

The succulent grows slowly and does not need any fertilisation. This hardy plant can be shaped by cutting and we can achieve the shapes we like best. The Kalanchoe is not only a beautiful sight for us, but if we touch its leaves we will find that they are very pleasant to the touch and we will immediately like this succulent.
