Did you know?

This succulent grows mainly in height. It is one of the tallest species of Kalanchoe.

Kalanchoe dinklagei, also called Kalanchoe millotii var. brevisepala and Kalanchoe brevisepala, is a xerophytic shrub growing on sandy soils.

This Kalanchoe bright green leaves will not change their colour even in full sun. The leaves are shortly hairy and the leaves themselves are thin but tough. They always grow in opposite pairs and gradually fall off from the bottom. They leave distinct traces on the stem. The cloves themselves are firm, straight and the plant grows mainly in height thanks to them. In Madagascar, it can reportedly grow to the height of smaller trees (up to 10 m), making it one of the largest Kalanchoe in the world. In our conditions, however, they can grow to a shrub size of up to 70 cm.

This Kalanchoe tends not to flower, only very rarely.

The growth of the plant is quite fast and by pruning we can encourage branching. It is also suitable for shaping and can be propagated from single leaves. It is a green succulent which in the wild surprises with its grandiose size and in our conditions is a simple shrub of light green colour. Perfect for the home, terrace or office.
