Kalanchoe Debora, also known as Kalanchoe blossfeldiana Debora or Kalanchoe blossfeldiana variegata, is a charming succulent plant with attractive foliage and bright flowers. Its original form is native to Madagascar. It is named after R. Blossfeldt, who brought it to Europe in the early 20th century.
It has large fleshy leaves of bright green with serrated edges. The leaves are decorated with yellow and white moulding, which gives the plant an elegant appearance. The sturdy light green stems bear a compact shrub that usually does not exceed 35 cm in height. This Kalachoe boasts striking red flowers that appear in abundant clusters.
The plant can be fertilised, ideally with cactus and succulent fertiliser. It is advisable to transplant the plant into a larger pot to give it better growing conditions. It is particularly popular for its hardiness and its ability to change leaf colour according to light intensity.
