Hoya kerrii (single leaf)

Hoya kerrii is often referred to as the heart wax plant and is nicknamed the valentine plant or the lucky plant. Its leaves are shaped like a heart, which is a clear symbol of love, happiness and being in love. It grows wild in Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. In this form, it is a self-growing leaf that is very unlikely to grow into a full plant, but will continue to grow on its own.

The deep green leaf is heart-shaped. It has a glossy, waxy surface that dulls over time and takes on dark shades. It is fleshy and strongly fleshy. The stems of the leaves are not found in the vast majority of cases.

Rarely, cream to pink star-shaped flowers may appear on the plant. However, flowers do not form in the single leaf version.

The leaf can be lightly fertilised as a houseplant. It likes occasional repotting and watering. It can be lightly dewed, which suits the plant. It is a very desirable houseplant because its single heart-shaped leaf can express feelings for a loved one, much like a bouquet of roses. This is a cheaper version of Hoya kerrii, which is especially suitable for growers who do not want the whole shrub to take up more space.
