Hoya carnosa Tricolor

The name Tricolor comes from the tricolour colouring of the leaves. The color is a combination of beige, green and pink. To get the beautiful pink coloration, it is advisable to place the wax plant in a sunny location.
Hoya carnosa Tricolor, also called the tri-color wax plant, is a climbing succulent. The native form grows in the wild in Australia, China and India.
The oval, fleshy leaves have a glossy surface, and their tricolour nature has given the plant the name Tricolor. The green leaves are decorated from their centres with a delicate cream-coloured pattern. It spreads gradually from each leaf to its margins. In a sunny position, the leaves take on a beautiful pink tinge in places. The plant's tendrils are spreading and can reach several metres.
Small, star-shaped flowers may appear occasionally in summer. They range in colour from white to pinkish.
Wax plant can be grown as climbers. It wraps its tendrils nicely around supports that can be prepared for its growth. It can be easily fertilized as a houseplant. Its pink colouring stands out best in a light habitat. It is an attractive houseplant that stands out among other wax plant for its tri-coloured aesthetic.
