TIP for you:

This is such an elegant succulent with many deep green reticulated lines.

Haworthia decipiens, formerly offered as Haworthia cymbiformis var. incurvula, is a fascinating succulent plant with a variable appearance. In the wild, it is found in the shelter of shady bushes in the Eastern and Western Cape provinces of South Africa. It is related to and similar to Haworthia arachnoidea.

This tiny succulent beauty forms stemless rosettes of fleshy, relatively thin leaves. Leaf colouration varies in a grey-green palette with many deep green reticulated lines. The leaf margins are decorated with slender, sparse teeth. The rosettes are slow growing and grow up to 12 cm in diameter, but there are also smaller forms with rosettes only 3 to 4 cm across. The leaves expand more or less towards the base and dry out and shrink during drought.

Haworthia decipiens is easily propagated by propagation. It is important to ensure that the plant is watered properly, as overwatering is the biggest danger to this plant. If we want to fertilise, we should only fertilise lightly. Thanks to its variability and beautiful netted leaves, Haworthia decipiens is a small attractive plant for collectors and ordinary succulent growers.
