Graptoveria Topsy Debbi
The plant likes a sunny habitat.
Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. In winter, limit watering.
It can tolerate -3.9 °C in the short term. However, the plant is not hardy.
Due to the different balance of genetic make-up from the parent plants, the individual Graptoveria Topsy Debbi are quite different. As a result, each plant looks slightly different. In the photos you can see the appearance of the plants we send you.
Graptoveria Topsy Debbi is a succulent hybrid created by crossing Graptoveria Debbi and Echeveria runyonii Topsy Turvy. Its origin is not completely known, but its unique appearance has made it a popular plant among growers. We can also sometimes see the names Graptoveria Lilac Spoons or Echeveria Cupid.
The elongated leaves are covered with a waxy powdery coating. In the colder months, the leaves turn from their classic grey colour to more intense purple or pink shades. The rosettes are usually smaller and grow rather close to the ground.
Flowering is relatively rare, but flowers may appear.
The succulent does not like fertiliser, so we prefer not to fertilise. It prefers a sunny habitat and it is not advisable to keep the substrate waterlogged for long periods. Attractive Graptoveria Topsy Debbi impresses not only with its unusual shape, but also with its colour variation under the waxy coating.
