The plant likes a sunny habitat.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.

It can tolerate -1.1 °C in the short term. However, the plant is not hardy.

TIP for you:

In spring, take care that the first strong sun does not burn the plant's leaves. The succulent likes a sunny location, but the first sun is tricky.

Graptoveria Ruby Donna is a succulent hybrid from Korea. Under this name we can also trace very different plants. Although its exact origin is not completely known, it is thought to have been created by crossing Graptopetalum amethystinum and Echeveria agavoides Romeo.

The thick, fleshy leaves are light green in colour and take on brownish-pink hues towards the tip. The colour of the leaves can vary depending on the season, the intensity of sunlight or growing conditions. The rosettes can grow up to 25 cm in diameter and often form offsets. Over time, the plant forms a fairly dense ground clump.

During late spring and early summer you can enjoy the beautiful flowers. The rosettes grow upright, much branched stems. These bear numerous bracts and bell-shaped, pale yellow flowers with red markings.

Towards the end of spring, care must be taken not to let the first strong sun scorch the leaves. Fertilising the plant is not advisable and it is best not to fertilise it. The succulent tolerates drought very well, so we don't have to worry too much if we forget to water occasionally. The combination of green and pink colour makes Graptoveria Ruby Donna a real eye magnet and will fit in well with succulent collections.
