Place the plant ideally in a sunny location.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.

It can tolerate -6.7 °C in the short term. However, the plant is not hardy.

TIP for you:

The plant's biggest attractions are its bright purple colour and uncharacteristically wavy edges. These stand out best when planted in common succulent containers.

Echeveria shaviana Pink Frills is a cultivar of wild Echeveria shaviana. The leaves of this cultivar are more vibrantly coloured than those of the original form.

The leaves turn shades of purple, silvery blue and green, with bright pink edges that become wavy with age. The slightly fleshy leaves grow in a spoon shape and have slight tips. They reach a length of up to 12,5 cm. They form a central rosette surrounded by numerous branches, the rosettes can reach a diameter of up to 20 cm.

In summer, orange-pink bell-shaped flowers bloom on arching stems.

This easy-care plant prefers a sunny location and a permeable substrate. Care should be taken to avoid overwatering and fertilisation. Echeveria shaviana Pink Frills is particularly striking with its unusual purple colouring and beautifully wavy leaves. It looks great in a grouping with other succulents.
