Place ideally in a sunny or lightly shaded location.
Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Reduce watering in winter.
It can tolerate -6.7 °C in the short term. However, the plant is not hardy.
This is a similar form of Echeveria Perle von Nürnberg. It changes its colour throughout the year depending on the growing conditions and becomes most intense in winter.
Echeveria Rainbow, also known as Echeveria West Rainbow, is a succulent plant that is a similar form of Echeveria Perle von Nürnberg.
This plant forms colourful rosettes of similarly coloured leaves that turn pinkish-purple with irregular flashes of bright pink and pale yellow. The colour of the leaves changes throughout the year and is particularly intense in winter. The leaves are fleshy, spoon-shaped and pointed. The rosettes of this plant grow up to 15 cm in diameter.
Echeveria Rainbow, unlike many other Echeverias, does not flower.
In spring, be careful not to burn the leaves with the first direct sunlight. Care should be taken when watering to ensure that water does not sit in the rose for long periods of time, which could cause rot or fungal diseases. Fertilisation is not suitable for the plant. The striking and very attractive Echeveria Rainbow will grace any place it appears with its bright pink colour. It is also valued by collectors for its rarity and variable colouring.
