Place ideally in a sunny location.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. In winter, limit watering.

It can tolerate -6.7 °C in the short term. However, the plant is not hardy.

Did you know?

The plant takes its name from its finder, Miguel Pulido. It was found in the mountains of Mexico, where it grows in Puebla.

Echeveria pulidonis, also called Pulido's Echeveria, is a succulent plant native to Mexico, where it is found in Puebla. It is named after the collector Miguel Pulido, who collected this species in its natural habitat.

This Echeveria is characterised by its fleshy, light green to blue-green leaves with reddish-brown margins and tips. The leaves are obovate, flat to slightly concave on top and rounded underneath. They grow up to 5 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. They form stemless rosettes that grow up to 9 cm across. Over time, the plant forms lateral offsets, gradually forming a cluster of rosettes.

Beautiful bright yellow flowers appear on reddish, unbranched stems that bend under the weight of the flowers in winter and spring. The stems grow up to 18 cm long.

I do not recommend fertilising this succulent. Echeveria pulidonis is most beautiful in winter. At this time, its leaf rosettes are beautifully dense and the colour is often more vibrant than in summer. The combination of dense rosettes and bright yellow flowers makes this Echeveria a real winter gem.
