Echeveria Pink Prince
Plant likes sunny habitats.
Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. In winter, limit watering.
It can tolerate -3.9 °C in the short term. However, the plant is not hardy.
In order to achieve a striking pink colour, it is ideal to place the plant outside in summer. The plant will get a richer and more beautiful shade in the sun in summer.
Echeveria Pink Prince, called Pink Prince, is a succulent cultivar with pink-green leaves. It is quite difficult to trace and therefore its name may vary.
The leaves of Echeveria Pink Prince range in colour from apple green to pink to purple, depending on light conditions and season. They change colour depending on the intensity of the light and the temperature of the day. In sunny locations, the leaves turn pink, while in darker areas the green colour predominates. The elongated leaves are soft and grow up to 5 cm long. The rosettes are up to 10 cm in diameter and the shrub grows to a height of 15 cm. It is a prolific rhizome.
Flowering is not so frequent, but even without flowers this plant wins the hearts of growers, especially with its colouring.
Echeveria Pink Prince is easy to care for, but requires delicate watering. This should be moderate. The plant reacts quickly to lack of water by softening its leaves, so if it does not have enough water the grower will know quite quickly. After watering, the leaves regain volume and strength. It is important that the water never sits in the rosette as this, combined with the cold, could lead to rot or fungal diseases. The succulent grows quite quickly and will shine among the green plants in a succulent collection, which it will enliven with its unusual colour.
