Echeveria lilacina
A sunny habitat is ideal for the plant.
Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. In winter, limit watering. Be careful of overwatering, water less rather than more!
It can tolerate -3.9 °C in the short term. However, the plant is not hardy.
Her nickname Ghost Echeveria comes from her silver-grey colouring, which may evoke the imaginary colour of a ghost. In the sun, it turns pinkish-purple.
Echeveria lilacina, nicknamed Ghost Echeveria, is a succulent plant with a charming silver-grey leaf colour. This colour changes to pinkish purple in summer, making it a real gem among succulents.
The leaves of Echeveria lilacina are spoon-shaped and pointed, up to 8 cm long and 3.7 cm wide. The lower leaves dry out and should be removed continuously. Unlike other echeverias, this plant remains groundcover throughout its life and hardly forms a stem.
Light pink or coral pink flowers appear in short arching racemes atop reddish stems. These grow up to 15 cm long. The flowers can be found on the plant from late winter to early spring.
It is a slow growing succulent. It is breathtaking with its silvery hue, which, as it turns pinkish-purple, will amaze anyone witnessing this miracle.
