Tip for you:

This Echeveria is characterised by its red and flat stem. This combination makes it a unique collector's item.

Echeveria fimbriata cristata, a succulent plant with a cristate form, impresses collectors with its fringed leaves and crimson stem. This Echeveria is distinguished from the classic (non-cristate) form by its smaller leaves. The classic form was described by Thompson in 1911. It is native to the state of Morelos, Mexico.

The tiny leaves, growing to a maximum of 3 cm, are green to dark red with a fine red pattern. The edges of the leaves are edged in a slight red and covered with inconspicuous hairs, giving them a fringed appearance. The leaves grow close together on a firm, flat stem which is tinged with red. The total height of the plant is just under 30 cm.

Unlike the classic form, crested does not usually flower. However, the colouring of the leaves changes throughout the year, giving the cristata a dynamic and ever-changing colour palette.

Echeveria fimbriata cristata is a fascinating succulent plant that will bring a unique and charming look to your collection. Its fringed leaves, crimson stem and low maintenance make it suitable for all succulent lovers. The caraway is a unique collector's piece.
