Echeveria Cubic Frost cristata is a cultivated form of Echeveria Cubic Frost. It has a unique and attractive appearance that makes it a rare and valuable piece for collectors. The name Cubic Frost, refers to its frosty color and cubic growth habit.
The plant has a flat stem that is blue-purple in color and densely growing leaves of a cool mauve to lilac-pink color. The shape of the leaves is arching. The leaves tend to be smaller than those of the common form. The plant itself also grows to a smaller size, and can reach a height of up to 20 cm.
This cultivar is unlikely to flower.
It is characterised by crested growth, which means that its growth tops distort and spread into bizarre shapes. This makes each plant unique and original. In addition, some parts of the plant tend to revert to their original growth type. Do not fertilise the plant and allow it as much light as possible for healthy growth. The plant becomes more beautiful and grows over time. Adult collection specimens tend to be highly prized pieces. Each plant is an original and will especially please avid collectors looking for something unusual.
