Echeveria Briar Rose cristata
The plant likes a sunny habitat.
Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. In winter, limit watering.
It can tolerate -1.1 °C in the short term. However, the plant is not hardy.
This crested form has smaller leaves than the classic Echeveria Briar Rose. It is also distinguished by its flat stem, which bears densely lobed leaves at its apex.
Echeveria Briar Rose cristata, also known as Echeveria Briar Rose var. cristata, is a cristate form of the popular Echeveria Briar Rose. It has smaller leaves than the classic form.
The pastel green leaves with pink edges grow densely clustered atop a stubby stem. The leaves are slightly waxy and soft to the touch. Overall, the flat stem forms a compact succulent that grows to a height of 8-15 cm.
The crested form of the succulent does not flower.
Echeveria Briar Rose cristata does not like to be fertilised. What it does require is a well-drained substrate and plenty of sunlight. We can use a mixture for cacti and succulents here. If we provide it with a quick drainage system, it will delight us not only with its compact growth but also with its leaves, especially if they turn pink.
