TIP for you:

This is a crested form with pink leaves. These are best in direct sunlight.

Cremneria Expatriata cristata is a hybrid of two succulent plants, Cremnophila linguifolia and Echeveria amoena Microcalyx. It was formerly classified as a species of Echeveria, but in 1975 Reid Moran reassigned it to the newly established hybrid genus ×Cremneria.

The crested form is characterized by fleshy leaves that range in color from blue-gray to distinctly pink. They are white-skinned and change colour throughout the year. The leaves grow close together and the old and lower ones dry naturally. The plant has a ridge-like growth habit with a flat, leathery, sturdy stem. The whole succulent grows to a height of about 20 cm.

This form of Cremneria Expatriata is unlikely to flower.

When growing, care should be taken to ensure that the plant does not stand too long in water. Besides, it likes sun and sunny habitats. The plant is particularly striking because of its pinkish colour, which gives a calming impression and gives the plant a comforting appearance.
