It can tolerate -6.7 °C in the short term. However, the plant is not hardy.

TIP for you:

It produces beautiful and fragrant pale pink flowers with a red centre. It is popular for its flowers in succulent gardens and collections.

Crassula Springtime is a hybrid plant created by crossing Crassula perfoliata var. minor and probably Crassula rupestris. This hybrid was created in 1980 by the skill of Hans Britsch, an American breeder of cacti and plants in the Crassulaceae family. The name Springtime refers to the fact that this plant retains its flowers until spring.

This Jade Plant has slender stems and grey to dark green leaves with furrowed edges and a few scattered papillae. The stems with thick, fleshy leaves grow upright at first, but eventually droop under the weight of the leaves. It grows slowly and can reach a height of about 15 cm.

The star-shaped flowers of Crassula Springtime are delicately scented. They are pale pink with a red centre and appear in dense clusters in late winter and early spring. The flower clusters can reach up to 5 cm in diameter.

This unique hybrid brings beautiful flowers to collections, often symbolizing the harbinger of spring, for which it is very popular with growers looking for attractive inflorescences.
