Succulent likes a sunny site, can tolerate partial shade.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. In winter, limit watering.

It can tolerate -6.7 °C in the short term. However, the plant is not hardy.

TIP for you:

If the plant is exposed to direct sunlight, its leaves will turn a deep red colour.

Crassula platyphylla variegata, full name Crassula nudicaulis var. platyphylla variegata, is a charming succulent plant with similar leaves. The classic form is native to South Africa. The lighter areas on the plant appear where it lacks chlorophyll.

The broadly oblong to rounded leaves have marginal cilia. In full sun, the leaves turn red. The banding, which is unique to each plant, gives the plant an even more attractive appearance. The stems are short, more or less branched and slightly woody. This plant is a low succulent, generally reaching a height of up to 10 cm.

Small greenish flowers appear in spring and sometimes again in late summer.

Crassula platyphylla variegata is an unpretentious succulent plant which has gained popularity with our customers thanks to its original habit and its delicate, colourful appearance.
