Ceropegia woodii variegata, also known as Ceropegia linearis subsp. woodii Variegata, is a charming succulent plant with heart-shaped leaves that are decorated with pink iridescence. This plant, also known as Variegated String of Hearts.

The light or deep green leaves have off-white to pink edges. The heart-shaped leaves grow up to 2 cm long. They tend to be as wide as they are long. The succulent has slender stems and drooping (semi-deciduous) growth. The length of the drooping plant can eventually reach several metres.

Flowers, up to 2 cm long, usually appear from late summer to early autumn and last up to 6 weeks. They have the shape of a candlestick, hence the Czech name of the plant - candlestick.

Ceropegia woodii variegata looks best in a hanging container. The length of the plant can be regulated by trimming the shoots. It is an interesting and unpretentious piece for any succulent collection. The beautiful leaf pattern is breathtaking and shows the uniqueness of this overhanging plant.
