Succulent best suits a sunny site, but can tolerate partial shade.

Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out, year-round.

The plant is not hardy.

TIP for you:

The individual leaves are twisted so that their ends point towards the centre of the plant as much as possible. Together with the white patterning, this creates a rather interesting effect, which is complemented by easy care.

Aloe Maidu is a relatively new hybrid. Its dark green leaves are usually beautifully elongated and grow slightly curved. The tip of the leaf often grows back above the centre of the plant. This effect makes Maidu a popular Aloe species and creates an unusual appearance.

The leaves turn a dark green, have white toothed edges and bear white patterns on them. These can be found on the top and bottom of the leaves. However, the irregular teeth on the edges are not spines. The plant branches profusely and grows up to 15 cm tall.

It is also popular for its frequent flowering. It flowers from spring to autumn, sometimes several times during the season. The flower stalk grows from the centre of the plant and bears bell-shaped orange to yellow flowers.

This hardy Aloe can also be fertilised. It does not require much care and anyone can take care of it. In addition, the individual pieces are each original and slightly different from each other thanks to the patterning and twisted shapes. This makes it an ideal plant even for beginners who don't want to grow just anything.
