Aloe Flow White, botanically called ×Gasteraloe Flow, is the light form of the popular Aloe Flow plant. It is also referred to by the names Gasteria Flow, ×Gasteraloe Flo and ×Gasteraloe Sprite. It is an intergeneric hybrid that resulted from a cross between Gasteria carinata var. verrucosa and an unknown Aloe.
Light green leaves, densely covered with white spots. These spots give the plant a unique and charming appearance. It is a slow-growing succulent that forms rosettes of sturdy leaves growing up to 20 cm in diameter. The triangular shaped leaves with serrated edges slowly form rhizomes that can be easily detached and used for propagation.
The orange, tubular flowers grow arranged in a raceme. The plant flowers very rarely.
Growing Aloe Flow White is easy and can be done by a beginner. The plant is suitable for shady locations, but in direct sunlight it takes on an unhealthy faded appearance. If we have the opportunity, we can fertilise the plant. For example, fertiliser for cacti and succulents is suitable. The plant is unpretentious and can be grown by anyone. Its speckled appearance makes it an icon of shady corners or interiors.
