It can tolerate temperatures around 0 °C for short periods. The plant is not hardy.

TIP for you:

This is one of our rarer pieces. It is one of our favourite plants, but it is harder to find for collectors.

Aeonium tabuliforme cristata, also known as Aeonium tabulaeforme cristata, is the cristate form of the normal species Aeonium tabuliforme. The classical form is native to the Canary Islands, specifically Tenerife. It occurs naturally on moist north-facing cliffs and ledges at low altitudes.

This Aeonium has light to bright green leaves that grow close together. The ends of the leaves form interesting ridges, clumps. The flat woody cotyledons can reach heights of up to 20 cm. In older plants, the cotyledon may grow obliquely or lie flat. This crested form is unlikely to flower. The old leaves dry naturally from the bottom, forming a beautiful woody stem.

If care is taken with this succulent, it is a fairly undemanding Aeonium. This crested form is very rare, so it may be an atypical collector's piece.
