Aeonium Starburst
The plant likes sunny habitat and partial shade.
Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. In winter, limit watering.
It can tolerate -3.9 °C in the short term. However, the plant is not hardy.
Its name Starburst is derived from the colour and pattern of the leaves.
Aeonium Starburst, is a fascinating succulent plant and a partial reversion of Aeonium Sunburst. This ornamental plant is characterised by its similarly shaped leaves that combine green centres with pale yellow margins.
In full sun, the edges of the leaves turn pink, giving the plant an even more attractive appearance. The thick-tipped leaves have a serrated edge and are arranged in rosettes. These grow to a larger size than those of Aeonium Sunburst. The plant produces abundant offsets and forms a solid stem, which allows it to grow into a shrub or tree and reach a height of around 30 cm.
Although this Aeonium is unlikely to flower, its charming star patterned foliage gives it an attractive appearance all year round.
