TIP for you:

The variegated leaves are covered with slight hairs. The edges of the leaves turn white and the overall effect is completed by the variable growth of the plant.

Aeonium Ballerina, also known as Aeonium Frosty and Aeonium goochiae Ballerina, is a cultivar with variegated foliage, most likely a hybrid resulting from a cross between Aeonium glutinosum and probably Aeonium canariense, as mentioned by Rudolf Schulz.

This attractive succulent plant forms rosettes of grey-green, slightly hairy leaves with white margins. The leaves are sometimes somewhat sticky to the touch and their shape may vary slightly from one piece to another. Old leaves dry naturally and the rosettes grow up to 10 cm across. Aeonium has thin woody stems and grows up to 20 cm tall. It is a succulent shrub that branches out.

It produces yellow flowers, but flowering is not common.

The plant can be lightly fertilised with, for example, diluted houseplant fertiliser. The variegated leaves with fine white hairs are a delight to look at and form an attractive succulent that can be as attractive as a real ballerina.
