Aeonium arboreum Reversion
Succulent likes a sunny habitat, can tolerate partial shade.
Always water a few days after the substrate has dried out. Watering should be reduced in winter.
The plant can withstand temperatures as low as -3.9 °C in the short term.
This is a form that has reverted over time from crested growth to the classic form. This is indicated by the word Reversion - inversion, turning (back).
Aeonium arboreum Reversion is a succulent plant that has reverted to its original growth from the cristate form of Aeonium arboreum cristata.
The leaf pattern changes depending on the season and the method of cultivation. The green leaves have fine teeth around the perimeter and may show a line pattern in the middle. The margins themselves turn a pinkish shade in the sun. The leaves tend to be larger compared to the cristate form. The stems gradually lose their leaves from below as they age. The succulent with woody stem grows up to 50 cm tall.
This form flowers only very rarely.
The plant does not like fertilisation very much. As the branches age, they slowly lose their lower leaves. It is advisable to remove them to improve the appearance of the plant and protect it from pests. The succulent will delight with its delicate green rosette, which is complemented by a border of fine teeth and a hint of pink around the perimeter of the leaf.
