Adromischus triflorus is a slow-growing succulent plant native to South Africa. It impresses with its variability and undemanding nature. It also has a compact growth habit, making it ideal for growing in a small space, whether on a sunny windowsill or on a shelf in a greenhouse.
The leaves come in a variety of shapes and sizes, from triangular and obovate to oval and lobed. Their length varies from 1 to 5 cm and their width from 0.5 to 3 cm. The leaves are grey-blue with a fine white banding, which gives them a silvery tinge, while the upper margin is usually reddish. The leaves are firm and typically succulent with a characteristic coriaceous margin. The stem is characterised by semi-flexed stems that grow up to 20 cm long.
Around mid-summer, inconspicuous tubular flowers appear on tall stems.
The succulent can be lightly fertilised at your discretion. In winter it can withstand cold, but requires dryness. Adromischus triflorus is a beautiful and unpretentious succulent that brings a little bit of exotic Africa into the space.
