Pachyphytum, also known as moonflowers or fat plants, is a genus of succulent plants belonging to the Crassulaceae family. It encompasses around 30 species that are native to Mexico and Central America. Pachyphytum have adapted to diverse habitats, ranging from rocky slopes and mountains to forests and deserts.
