Austrocylindropuntia
Austrocylindropuntia is a captivating genus of cacti primarily native to South America. These cacti are characterized by cylindrical segments that form their stems. These segments can vary in length and thickness, often bearing sharp spines, and depending on the species, may be covered in a waxy coating. Austrocylindropuntia flowers are frequently very striking, appearing at the apex of the segments and coming in a variety of colors. After flowering, fruits containing seeds are produced.
