Agave

Agave is a genus of perennial succulent plants native to the warm regions of North and Central America. Known for their large, fleshy leaves arranged in a rosette pattern, agaves often feature sharp spines at the tips. The leaves can vary in color from green to blue-green, and sometimes have striking stripes or edges. Agave plants are popular for their ornamental value but are also used for fiber production (sisal) and, in the case of species like Agave tequilana, are a primary ingredient in the production of tequila. Agaves are highly drought-resistant and require minimal care.
